PHR is an omni-channel platform within the Apollo 247 ecosystem that enables users to manage prescriptions, lab reports, and other medical documents in one place, making healthcare records easier to store and access.
The opportunity
Managing health records is difficult for most patients.
Medical documents often come from multiple providers and formats, making them hard to track or retrieve when needed.
Key challenges included:
• medical records scattered across providers
• offline prescriptions easily misplaced
• difficulty accessing records during consultations
• limited visibility of health history over time
These insights led to the idea of building a centralized health record system integrated across the healthcare journey.
Exploring the ecosystem
Before designing the solution, we studied how similar platforms approached health data management and explored different product funnels and journeys.

This exploration helped us understand how record storage, accessibility, and integrations could work within the Apollo ecosystem.
Designing the record management experience
The goal was to create a simple workflow that allows users to upload and organize medical records while automatically structuring them into meaningful categories.
The platform supports uploading:
• prescriptions
• lab reports
• discharge summaries
• insurance documents
Uploaded documents are categorized and digitized to make them easier to retrieve and reuse.

The early wireframes focused on defining:
• document upload flows
• record categorization
• visibility of records within the app
Connecting records to healthcare actions
PHR was designed not just as storage, but as a functional layer within the healthcare ecosystem.
Users can access records across multiple services in the app.

Entry points include:
• doctor consultations
• medicine orders
• lab test bookings
• home page widgets
This ensures records remain accessible throughout the healthcare journey.
Final experience
The final solution allows users to upload records, automatically categorize them, and access them when booking consultations, ordering medicines, or reviewing lab reports.

Records can be accessed across the platform and shared during consultations when needed.
Impact
